The only problem I foresee is that they get very protective of their babies…when we had a nest in our front yard tree – they dive bombed us every time we went to the car or to water the trees etc. That was our experience. Ours are also back again so, I took the nest down but, noticed this morning that they are rebuilding, as well…hmmm. Love ya! Auntie B

Thanks Diane. Ya I’m going to let them stay for this year and see how it goes. The Flower Pot idea is a great one! I feel bad they’ve had to work so hard already.

LOL!! Persistent for sure. Is the 3rd time the charm?

Bright colored birds are the males. The drab birdie in the bush probably has her little legs crossed and is saying “Do you have that damn thing built yet, sweetheart??”

I say let them stay for a year and see how that goes. Put a pot of flowers under the light (free fertilizer!). If they are terrible neighbors, put something up there so they can’t move back in next year.
