Today I decided to join Technorati and see how I like it. One of the steps that I’m still a bit on the fence about is their claim token. Here’s my token: H2PFZFP22UDZ I wonder how many people see these crazy tokens and ask what the heck is that for!??
Well as of right now it’s the way in which Technorati can confirm you own your blog. As a Designer it just makes me question if there is not a prettier way to go about this. I love how Google uses a validation Metatag, but I know Technorati is no Google. And I’m sure there are some people who’d be entirely confused trying to add a metatag anyways. Sooo… here’ goes nothin’!
